Is it hard to install? Can I do it myself?
Installation is very simple. You can do it yourself. One of our innovations is the 4 screw installation system, aided by adhesive tape. First you paste the blind into the window. The tape will keep it in place for installation. Then you have your hands free to screw the first two screws. After this you slide in the side rails under an angle and place the last two screws at the bottom of each side rail. All done!
My skylight is hard to reach, do you have a solution?
Check out our accessories page for telescopic poles of 2 or 3 metres. You can use these to open/close your window as well as your blinds.Can I still open my skylight after installing a blind?
No problem. Since the blinds are mounted inside the moving part of the window, the window opening is not blocked by anything.
Can I also open the blind halfway?
The bottom bar has breaks preventing it from rolling up and it can be set to any position. To take of the brakes, push the bottom bar towards the glass so it can be moved freely.
What is the difference between your blinds and original VELUX ® blinds?
We do not sell original blinds from the skylight manufacturers, but we created our own skylight blind from the ground up.
Our blinds are made exactly made to measure for your VELUX ® skylight. The system has been testen by the BBA and complies with European guidelines for child safety. Our blinds are completly cord free and therefore very easy to install. The product is made in Ireland and most of the components are sourced in Europe. Our blinds are affordable, high quality and time-tested. The perfect alternative to the orginal VELUX® blind.

Are the fabric colours exactly as shown on the website?
We try to get our photography as close to reality as possible. However, the settings of your screen and the way the light hits the fabric influences the match between screen and reality. We know from experience that in most cases, expectations are met. But if you pick a special colour, it is advisable to order samples first to make sure the colour suits the room.
How long will it take for my blinds to arrive?
That depends on the size and fabric. We have a lot of popular sizes and colours on stock and often offer same day despatch on these. For the items we don't have on stock allow about a week. Motorised blinds take slightly longer.
